History
Established in 1998, HAS Communications, Inc. (HAS) was founded by a number of American and Filipino entrepreneurs to provide innovative outsource services in the interactive, broadcast, media support, communications, contact center and BPO verticals to both local and international clients.

The company began by creating a turn-key, traffic reporting service known as “trapik dot com”. After its debut in 1997 on a single Manila radio station, this first-ever outsourced broadcast service was immediately embraced by the broadcast industry and today enjoys an incredible 93% recall, broadcasting over 300 daily traffic and news reports on 21 of Manila 's most popular radio and TV stations.

After 2 years of rapid growth in the broadcast industry the company expanded into wireless interactive services by adding a software development and integration group, who are now responsible for building and maintaining many of the companies' leading edge technology, media and contact center services.

In 2001 the companies software and media development group created one of the Philippines most popular interactive text messaging services known as “txtjock dot com”. To date this service has processed hundreds of millions of text messages for over 200 broadcast networks, major corporations and selected advertisers who use the service to communicate with over 40 million wireless ssubscribers on all five Philippine wireless networks.

The following year, GMA7, The Philippines leading television network, selected HAS as the exclusive information provider for their morning and afternoon news programs, providing real time traffic information, traffic ticker and ad-hoc traffic reporting services. By mid 2005, HAS expanded it's outsourced broadcast portfolio to include soft news, celebrity gossip and custom broadcast segments to leading radio networks.

In early 2006 the company was selected by the Manila Airport Authority to develop, maintain and operate the countries largest flight information system to display real-time flight schedules within Manila's 4 main international and domestic airport terminals. More recently, the company has been selected by Yahoo! as the exclusive provider of traffic, travel and selected real-time content for the Yahoo! Philippines website.

Over the last 10 years HAS has established itself as a leader in technology based, outsourced services capable of delivering world class software development, information management, broadcast and outsource services to over one hundred and fifty clients, worldwide.
