- Wear your seatbelt. It saves lives.
- Make sure that everyone in the car wears their seatbelts before you start the engine.
The safety of your passengers is also our concern.
- Park wisely in a well-lit area or a visible street if you are not familiar with the place.
- Ignore sign language from other drivers.
- Choose a sensible car. A sports car maybe good to look at but a larger car has better protection to provide in an accident.
- Follow traffic signs. Speed limit, no parking, no overtaking and other traffic signs are placed to keep the traffic moving and accident free.
- Don't be a careless driver. Remember to use all your signals.
- Don't drink and drive. If you are tipsy or drunk call a cab or ask a friend to drive for you. Take public transportation or find a place to rest and get sober.
- Don't be a juggler inside your car. Talking on the cell-phone, eating or reading all at the same time while driving is flirting with disaster.
