A. Bonifacio Clearing Operations Still Ongoing
By Online Staff
Posted : 10/7/2009

The A. Bonifacio Avenue in Marikina City is still closed to vehicular traffic due to the ongoing clearing operations by the MMDA after the onslaught of typhoon Ondoy.

The agency is asking the motoring and the commuting public to bear with the situation a little bit longer as they clear the major thouroughfare of garbage and mud.

Motorists are presently dealing with the traffic congestion in residential areas and narrower roads which are designated as alternate routes going ou to Quezon City.

This also caused more congestion along the already busy Marcos Highway.
