The Metro Manila Development Authority gives out a stern warning to all motorists to think twice before swerving while driving along the stretch of EDSA.
MMDA executive director Vergel de Dios said that the rules on swerving will be strictly enforced soon unless violators are willing to shell out a maximum fine of 2,000 pesos.
The MMDA office has received several reports that most of the accidents along EDSA were caused by recklessness while changing lanes along the metro's main thoroughfare.
De Dios is reminding drivers of public and private vehicles should remember that they are not allowed to switch lanes when they are inside the yellow and white solid markings.
