BCDA Proposes Toll Increase

There is a great possibility that the new Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway toll will be imposed upon its opening on March 15, 2008.
Officials of the Bases Conversion Development Authority are proposing a P2.49 per kilometer toll and is set to be presented to the Toll Regulatory Board or TRB for approval.
Computations based on the length of the expressway and the loan granted to the BCDA for the new expressway are just some of the reasons as to why the proposal is being made.
The Subic-Clark stretch will have interchanges in Floridablanca, Porac, Angeles City and Clark with three major bridges.
