Tullahan Bridge Cracks Normal
By Online Staff
Posted : 11/2/2007

The Department of Public Works and Highways is assuring the public that the Tullahan Bridge is still safe despite the cracks found at its approaches.

According to DPWH NCR Assistant Director Engineer Angelito Twaño, the cracks are a result of water seeping from underneath the asphalt. But he adds there is nothing to worry about as this is just normal.

On Monday, the DPWH will be going back to Tullahan and will find out where the water is coming from through a procedure they call sqaure hauling.

Twaño clarifies that this will not result in another vridge closure as they will be working at around midnight so as not to disrupt traffic flow.
